  • I feel like this proves how much colour changes everything.

For the most part the architecture is the same, the lighting too, but suddenly one version feels bold and luxurious, another feels calm, another feels really fashion-forward.

Which one gets your vote?

  • Ever feel like a renovation budget starts off clear and then slowly spirals?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You begin with one number, thinking it should cover everything. Then decisions start coming up, quotes vary, and suddenly you’re unsure what’s actually included.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That’s the part no one really talks about.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s not just about how much you’re spending, it’s how that budget is structured.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is exactly why I created this free guide. It helps you understand where your money is going before things get overwhelming.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s the same way I walk clients through projects so nothing feels confusing halfway through.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Comment BUDGET and I’ll send it over right away!

  • I notice this all the time, shelves that look “done,” but still feel a bit off. Often it’s not the pieces, it’s how they work together.

When I’m styling shelves, I’m not just placing objects. I’m looking at balance, spacing, height, what your eye lands on first, and how everything flows from one section to the next.

It’s small shifts most people wouldn’t think to make, but they’re the difference between shelves that look okay and shelves that actually feel finished.

Save this for the next time you’re staring at your shelves wondering what’s missing.

  • I always notice where people naturally gather in a kitchen. And it’s rarely standing in the middle of the room. It’s leaning against the island, sitting on a stool, or tucked into a corner like that banquette.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The kitchen really is the heart of the home, so those little moments matter more than people think.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So when I design a space like this, I’m thinking about them from the start. Where will someone sit with their coffee? Where does a conversation naturally happen?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That’s why layouts matter so much. A kitchen isn’t just about function, it’s about how people move and connect in it without even realizing.

  • Designing a guest room sounds simple until you think about how many different people will actually use it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In this case, it needed to work for adult kids, visiting guests, and even overflow when someone stays in the den.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So we kept things simple and easy to settle into.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Crisp white bedding, soft textures underfoot, and just enough warmth through the accents so it doesn’t feel sterile. It’s that balance between “hotel” and “home.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep, but still connected to the calm, breezy feel of the rest of the condo.

  • I share a lot here, but the blog is where I go a bit deeper.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A few articles like how to style a round coffee table so it actually feels balanced, small updates that can completely shift how your kitchen feels, or when custom furniture is really worth it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you’ve ever wanted a bit more context behind the decisions or insight on how everything actually comes together, pop over to the blog… I’m sharing more there!
  • I always say, if your entryway isn’t working, you feel it every single day. It’s the drop zone for everything, so when it’s not thought through, it’s where the friction shows up first. Shoes piling up, nowhere to sit, things getting left out because there isn’t really a place for them.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So when we designed this one, the goal was simple: make coming home feel easy. A place to sit, somewhere to hang things without thinking twice, and enough hidden storage so it never feels cluttered. Nothing complicated, just really intentional.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
These are the kinds of decisions that don’t stand out right away, but they completely change how your home feels to live in. And more often than not, these are the spaces clients end up appreciating the most.

  • I couldn’t imagine an interior design project without regular site visits.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For me, it really goes hand in hand with the work. It’s not something that happens at the beginning and the end… it’s something I’m part of all the way through.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I think some people assume you can skip having a designer on site during a renovation, but I can tell you this is where so much of the design actually gets protected. This is where I’m checking alignments, answering questions as they come up, and catching things before they turn into bigger issues.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It might not look like much in the moment, but this part matters the most.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you’re considering a renovation, I wouldn’t skip this part. It’s what makes everything come together the way it’s supposed to.
